Shore — 1 Dive
The gentlest introduction. We walk in from a calm, shallow entry point, so there is no boat and no depth to descend before the reef starts. Best if you are unsure how you will feel.
Add Discover Scuba — 1 dive Shore to My Saved List
Your first breath underwater, guided one-to-one by an SSI professional. No certification, no experience, no pressure.
A Discover Scuba dive is the shortest path from the beach to the reef. There is no classroom, no exam and no certification required — just a short briefing in shallow water, then a guided dive with an instructor beside you the whole time. Most people are breathing comfortably underwater within a few minutes of putting the regulator in their mouth.
Discover Scuba is the SSI programme for complete beginners. You are never alone: one instructor stays with you for the entire dive, controlling depth and pace so you can concentrate on looking around. We keep groups small — a maximum of four divers per guide — which means you get real attention rather than being one of a crowd. If you decide afterwards that you want to go further, the experience counts towards your Open Water certification.
We start at our café with a coffee and a relaxed conversation about what to expect — this is where most first-timers stop feeling nervous. You are fitted for equipment, then we make the short trip to a sheltered site chosen for the day's conditions. After a briefing in water you can stand up in, you dive. Afterwards we head back to the café to warm up, look through the photos and talk about what you saw.
We cap groups at four divers per guide, so nobody is left waiting on the surface or chasing a line of strangers. On a first dive that ratio is the difference between being taught and being processed.
MoreLicensed, certified and insured guides, serviced equipment, and emergency oxygen and first aid on every single dive — not just the deep ones.
MoreCalm, shallow sites and patient instructors. Most of the people we take underwater for the first time have never worn a mask before, and that is completely normal here.
MoreEnglish, French, Japanese, Mandarin and Cantonese. Understanding your briefing properly matters more on a first dive than on any other.

Add Discover Scuba — 1 dive Shore to My Saved ListThe same easy entry, twice. The second dive is where it clicks for most people: the equipment stops feeling strange and you actually start looking at the reef instead of thinking about breathing.
Add Discover Scuba — 2 dives Shore to My Saved ListA short ride out to reefs you cannot reach from the beach — healthier coral, more fish and better visibility. Comfortable for beginners as long as you are happy on a small boat.
Add Discover Scuba — 1 dive Boat to My Saved ListOur recommendation if you want the best of the day. Two dives at different sites with a surface break between them, on the offshore reefs around Kouri and Minna.
Add Discover Scuba — 2 dives Boat to My Saved ListEverything you need for the water is provided: mask, fins, wetsuit, BCD, regulator and tanks, all sanitised between users. All diving fees, taxes and site charges are covered — there are no extras added at the end. Bring a swimsuit and a towel; that is genuinely the whole list. Underwater cameras are available to rent if you want to keep the photos.
